1. (a) The working days are divided into two sessions. The morning session is from 8:30 am to 12:10 pm; the afternoon session is from 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm for Class 1 to 4, 12:45 pm to 3:15 pm for Class 5 to 8 and 12:45 pm to 3:45 pm for Class 9 & 10.
(b)Those who are forced by circumstances to come before 8:30 am shall sit in their respective classes and study.
(c) The first bell is given every day (8:25 am and 12:40 pm) and the second bell 5 minutes later (8:30 am and 12:45 pm). All students must be inside the classroom before the second bell. At the third bell, all must stand still, in their places silently.
(d) Pupils are expected to rise and wish the teacher, while he/she enters classroom and remain standing in silence till they are asked to sit or till the teacher takes his or her seat.
2. Every pupil must wish the members of the staff on the occasion of his/her first meeting them for the day, within the school premises or outside.
3. The school will take cognizance of any serious misconduct of its pupils outside its precincts and should any serious charge be fairly substantiated, the guilty shall be punished according to the gravity of the offence.
4. Books, magazines, newspapers, video games, CDs, playing cards, phones, I- Books, magazines, newspapers, video games, CDs, playing cards, phones, Ipods etc which pods are not approved by the Principal/Co-ordinator are not allowed in the school.
5. Electronic gadgets like Mobile phones, Digital Electronic gadgets like Mobile phones, Digital Pads, MP3 players etc Pads, MP3 players etc are strictly prohibited in School and will be treated as an offence and the device will be confiscated and not returned.
6. The school calendar must be brought to school everyday. Specimen signature of the parent (or guardian) has to be shown by every pupil on the page as indicated in the calendar.
7. All books and the belongings of the pupil should be labelled, by which the owner can be easily known. All stray or unclaimed property should be brought to the office. Any loss of articles suffered by the pupils must be reported immediately to the teacher-in-charge or Co-ordinator.
8. Pupils, without the Principal’s permission, must not join any external club or societies or make any commitments that would interfere with their studies. They are not allowed to play in any team against the school or take part in any tournaments outside without the Principal’s written permission.
9. Letters, officially addressed to the Principal/Co-ordinator, should contain reply postage, if a reply is desired.
10. Library books that are lost or damaged need to be replaced. In case the pupil is unable to procure the same, the cost of the book should be paid for in the school office.

A student of SJSCBSE represents the school even outside school hours and wherever he/she goes. Therefore, the school will take appropriate action when misconduct which is immoral or violent is reported.
